Oh yeah.. they will be.

But, not just yet.

The sign in my kitchen caught my attention, as my home decor is full of Farmer’s market items.

I had been pondering on how to put this-

The picture that captured my man’s heart on just where we are right now in this Market Garden.

This picture happens to be fresh off the press from Saturday.

You can’t make this up-

It is really dark out, and we were just finishing up with the planting of our watermelon patch.

Fridays are usually our date night-

But as any market gardener knows-

(maybe consumers don’t think much of it

and I’m a consumer myself)

there’s a lot of work involved from planting- to selling!

I would love to be at the watermelon selling stage, but as fun as that would be to time lapse,

I have to enjoy the here and now.

There’s something to be said for a hard days work and the fruitful reward that will soon follow-

Even if it’s just a great night’s sleep brought on by slap-dab exhaustion!
