Taking It All In

Well, not taking it all in..

I’m actually sitting here this morning, enjoying my coffee, keeping watch, over the rabbits I’m trying to KEEP OUT.

No, we aren’t taking those in!

We haven’t put electric to the fence yet, and those smart little suckers know it!

So, until then, as I keep watch, what I am taking in, is the beauty and reward of hard work!

Sometimes we forget to stop and smell-the tomatoes!

It’s that time, right now in their growth, that the tomato plants start to take on a certain smell.

It lets me know it’s close to transplant time, and shortly after, will be the thick, juicy topping of those Hossinator’s atop my bologna sammich!

But until then- I love watching the growth.

Not only do the detailed and vibrant colors catch my attention- but the way it all works!

There’s a process from seed or start of a thing- to finish and sometimes it’s a struggle to just enjoy the journey!

Like that greenhouse back there..

As much as we would like it to be done, we’re enjoying the process of even just the time we get to work on it together.

That’s actually one of my favorite things to do.. work with Dust!

I’m the gofer-

I go-fer this and go-fer that!

Like I said before, we all have our part to play in making the operation work and run smoothly.

I’m learning to just enjoy my part!

I hope you can relate today.

Whatever it is that you find yourself doing- enjoy it.

Be Thankful for the progress and take time to stop and smell your tomatoes!

In the meantime- lettuce not become impatient!

Coming up slowly but surely….

Onions and lettuce will be ready for sale soon.

And we still have plenty of radishes, that if I may say, are absolutely delicious!

We picked and sampled more this weekend.
